Our fellowship committee, with ten or more members, plans events which provide occasions for fellowship, fun, and deeper faith. We've had plays, films, potlucks, bingo nights, breakfasts, and cookie exchanges. Every year we have a summer hike and barbecue, a pie booth at the county fair, and a church picnic at Cullaby Lake. Here are our upcoming occasions for fellowship.

July 11, Saturday, 7:00 pm. BOWLING FOR JESUS. Lower Columbia Lanes.

July 18, Saturday. SUMMER HIKE & BARBECUE. Come enjoy a leisurely hike along the Warrenton Trails Association's Airport Dike Trail, adjacent to Astoria Regional Airport.Take in views of wetlands, shore birds, Youngs Bay, and a different perspective of the South Slope of Astoria. You may even see a plane or two landing. The total mileage is approximately 4 miles (2 miles to Hwy. 101 near the Premarq Center and back), and is flat. We will meet at the trailhead, located about 600 ft. west of the Lewis and Clark River Bridge. There is parking on both sides of Hwy 101-Business (Alt. Hwy 101), but carpooling is encouraged.

After the hike, whether or not you were able to join the hike, cruise over to Roger and Deb Pyle's house at 780 Nehalem Ave. for food and fellowship. Burgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. The grill heats up at 5:00 pm.

September 13, Sunday, Immediately after church. ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC. Cullaby Park.
